Frake Noir is an extremely durable thermally modified African Hardwood. It machines superbly due to the tight, interlocking grain. It is chocolate brown colour which weathers to a light shade of grey.
Factory applied SIOO:X makes Frake go a wonderfully light grey/white Tone.
This Species can have some very small pinholes which do not affect the durability or structure of the timber
