Due to the non-toxic thermal modification using only heat and steam, this timber boasts superior dimensional stability. Meaning the lengths will remain straight and free from cupping or bending despite seasonal changes and harsh weather.
This is a clear grade timber which is free of knots offering a very sleek contemporary aesthetic.
The thermal modification process reduces the moisture content down to approximately 7% and changes the structure of the cells of the wood increasing water repellency, durability and stability. This is ideal for interior and exterior use
This overstock comes factory sanded and coated in Umber finish
